Don’t you love to hear the Lord describe his bride this way? Jesus himself is described as
“an ensign (banner) to the Nations”! The use of church banners has a long and honored
place in our biblical history and worship banners are a powerful tool in the hands of the
worshiping Church. We use banners:

to declare the attributes of God in the heavenlies
to celebrate and honor God
to lift the Name of God into the heavenlies
to declare victory over our enemies
to rally the troops in battle
to identify who we belong to and what we are a part of
to put the enemy to flight
to declare the truth of the Word
to make His praise glorious
