The initial vision for the ministry of Messianic Market came to our Founders, Cindy Sumner and Shoshana Montgomery, on January 17th, 2000 when God instructed Cindy to begin what she thought would be a publishing company.

“I (Shoshana) knew that the Lord had called me to financially bless His work in the Land of Israel for some time and had been praying for the right vehicle. The night before Cindy approached me, I had cried out to the Lord again for an answer to how the
funds to help would come. The minute Cindy explained what she had in mind, my spirit jumped with excitement and I knew that this was an answer to my prayer.” Shoshana immediately embraced the vision of Messianic Market and the work was begun.

We have now branched out to provide difficult to find items needed in the Messianic community and among believers who wanted to know more about their Jewish Roots. We have been given the opportunity to encourage and help messianic believers in Israel through direct funding from the tithe of our profits and through offering them an online sales outlet for the work of their very talented hands.
